Welcome to GreatDane Trades ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our website and platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to trade cryptocurrencies in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable local laws and regulations.

2. Nature of the Service

The Service is a research and execution platform for cryptocurrency scalping strategies on the Kraken API. The Service may include paper trading, backtesting, and optional live trading features. The Service is provided as a tool — not as investment advice.

  • We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
  • We do not guarantee any level of profit, and past performance does not indicate future results.
  • You retain full responsibility for every trading decision made using the Service.

3. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and any API keys you configure. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication and reviewing the audit log regularly.

4. Live Trading

Live trading is disabled by default. Enabling live trading is an explicit operator action that requires confirmation and acknowledgement of risk. You must review recent backtest and paper-trading results before enabling live mode.

5. Fees and Third Parties

All trading activity routed through Kraken is subject to Kraken's own fees, terms, and availability. We are not affiliated with Kraken and are not responsible for exchange outages, order rejections, or API behaviour outside our control.

6. Prohibited Use

  • Using the Service to engage in market manipulation, wash trading, or any unlawful activity.
  • Reverse-engineering, scraping, or attempting to bypass authentication or rate limits.
  • Using the Service on behalf of a sanctioned individual or jurisdiction.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculated metrics are free of bugs or edge cases.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither GreatDane Trades nor its contributors will be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, including trading losses.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
