What GreatDane Trades is
A research-first platform for trading crypto on Kraken with realistic costs and hard risk limits. We validate strategies with walk-forward backtests and paper trading before anything is allowed to go live.
Our principles
- Paper trading is the default, not an afterthought.
- Every signal must record why it was taken — or why it was rejected.
- Realistic fees and slippage are built into the cost model before a trade is even considered.
- A bad backtest should block a live trade, not be hidden from the operator.
- Sensitive actions are audit-logged with user and IP.
What we won't do
- Promise profits, or show cherry-picked backtest results.
- Hide losses or rejection reasons from the UI.
- Enable live trading without an explicit confirmation.
- Sell your data or introduce third-party trackers.
